What is a Migraine?
Migraines are headaches of varying intensity, often accompanied by nausea and sensitivity to light and sound. Migraine headaches are sometimes preceded by warning symptoms. Triggers include hormonal changes, certain food and drink, stress and exercise. A migraine is much more than a bad headache. It can cause debilitating, throbbing, one-sided head pain that can leave you in bed for days. Movement, lights, sounds and other triggers may cause symptoms like fatigue, nausea, vision changes, irritability and more.

Natural Alternative Treatment Plan for Migraines
We recommend that you do an AllOVER Detox at least once a year – however the following products are ideal to alleviate Migraines
MigRO Drops is a unique combination of herbs that help alleviate headaches and act as preventative treatment. Cayenne produces changes in nerve fibers that prevent them from transmitting migraine pain. Rosemary and Cayenne improves blood circulation, alertness and it alleviates pain and tension. Feverfew relieves smooth muscle spasms and prevents inflammation. It also prevents migraine attacks by stopping the release of serotonin. Lavender and Skullcap alleviates nervous tension, stress and anxiety. Ginkgo Biloba enhances cerebral circulation and targets headaches caused by hormonal imbalances and improves alertness.
MSM Magnesium Liquid contains 222.67mg elemental magnesium per 3ml with natural occurring trace minerals and MSM to help improve absorption. MSM is also well known as a pain reliever for many other conditions. Magnesium's role in migraine pathogenesis is well-described, with deficiencies known to promote cortical spreading depression, alter nociceptive processing and neurotransmitter release, and encourage the hyperaggregation of platelets, all major elements of migraine development. Research on magnesium has found it to be a potentially well-tolerated, safe and inexpensive option for migraine prevention, while it may also be effective as an acute treatment option for headaches including migraines, tension- type headaches and cluster headaches, particularly in certain patient subsets. For this effect a higher dosage such as 400 mg to 1000 mg of magnesium per day may be suggested by our Naturopath.
